1/2 tsp baking soda

1 tsp cinnamon + 1 tsp ginger

1/4 tsp cloves 1/4 tsp nutmeg

1/8 tsp salt + 1/8 tsp pepper

1/3 cup molasses

1/3 cup butter melted

1 large egg

10x sugar

In medium bowl stir flour, sugar, baking soda + all spices with a wooden spoon

work in molasses + butter

beat in egg until blended

ungreased cookie sheet

while warm roll in 10x sugar
